Quartz

Engineered stone (Quartz) is a composite material made of crushed stone bound together by an adhesive to create a solid surface.

Quartz Surfaces are strong, dense and generally wont stain. Quartz countertops are heat resistant but not heat proof. Thus putting hot pots directly on quartz surfaces is not recommended.
